Ministries Scheduled: Greeter, Lector, EM, Martha Ministry, Altar Server, Sacristan, Usher, Lyrics Clicker, Camera Crew
In Their Own Words:
There are so many features I appreciate about MSP. For example, I can email only the Lectors or only the Ushers without having to track down each person individually. Another is the ability to label altar servers as "New" or "Experienced," ensuring that there is always at least one experienced server at each Mass. The system prevents scheduling all new servers together, which keeps everything running smoothly.
I could go on and on about all the features that make organization easier and help our Masses run more smoothly. I honestly can't imagine how we would manage all of this without MSP."
—Monique Akker, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (Hermosa Beach, CA)

Location: Claremont, CA
MSP User Since: 2014
Ministries Scheduled: Presider, Concelebrant, Deacon, EM, Sacristan, Lector, Altar Server, Music Minister (Song Leader, Accompanist, Ensemble Leader), Master of Ceremonies, Confessor, Sight & Sound, Docent, Bereavement
In Their Own Words:
It's so easy to keep track of everyone's availability and preferences—and we love that we can schedule family members together with just a click.
Before we started using it, five different ministry leaders were juggling spreadsheets and notes to create separate schedules. Now, everything is in one simple system that one person can manage, and volunteers can update their own availability whenever they need to.
One of our favorite features is how simple it is for volunteers to request or accept a sub when something unexpected comes up. Ministry Scheduler Pro has made our scheduling smoother, our communication easier, and our volunteers happier!"
—Mary Kunz, Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Community (Claremont, CA)

Built for Parish Ministries, From the Very Beginning
Fittingly, MSP itself has deep California roots.
It began in California, when a parish leader at St. Monica's Church in Moraga was trying to solve a very specific, familiar challenge: scheduling Altar Servers.
Rather than forcing a generic software tool to fit parish life, he partnered with a local computer programmer who listened carefully to the parish's needs and began building a tool specifically designed for ministry scheduling.
That collaboration — between a Catholic parish and a programmer who wanted to help — became the foundation of Ministry Scheduler Pro. It grew organically, parish by parish, into a scheduling tool now trusted by thousands of churches and ministries across the country, like these in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
