Nestled in the Rockies, Regis University Ministry serves students, faculty, staff, and a growing worshiping community from around Denver. Mass attendance at St. John Francis Regis Chapel has doubled in recent years, with students and community members worshiping—and serving—side by side. Regis was among the first campuses to ever begin using MSP, and to this day, it helps all volunteers stay connected, informed, and engaged in ministry.

Here's a fun fact: Taylor Vanasse, once a student Sacristan at Regis, now works as University Ministry Associate, managing MSP for the chapel. She still volunteers with the same MSP profile she used as a freshman, now overseeing and training all new ministers following in her footsteps. Her favorite MSP features? Sub requests and automatic reminders that keep things running smoothly.

Fordham University Church

Fordham University Church, built in 1845, serves as the primary worship space for Fordham campus ministry. Since introducing MSP in 2016, campus minister Katie Anderson Kuo has transformed the scheduling process for student Masses. MSP's autoscheduler has been a game-changer, replacing long hours of manual effort, filling positions in seconds and allowing students to update their own availability with ease. MSP has freed up more time for Katie to focus on ministry, bringing creativity to campus liturgies and empowering students to grow in leadership.

How does Fordham empower students with MSP? Katie appoints two student "co-chairs" of each ministry, such as Lectors, giving them special access as Leaders in MSP. These student leaders help coordinate swaps, send announcements, and support peers in their groups—fostering a ministry that's truly student-driven.

St. John's Church at Creighton University

St. John's Parish sits at the heart of Creighton University's campus, where students and parishioners worship as one community. When Chase Becker joined the staff, volunteer scheduling was done by hand, and substitutions relied on a phone tree—not exactly student-friendly. When he introduced MSP, it transformed how students engaged with liturgical ministries. Now, Creighton students volunteer at all five weekend Masses and at daily services!

*Curious about the Tower Bell Ringers? Chase added a bell rope to the historic church's tower, and trains students each year to ring the bells for five minutes before the Sunday Student Masses—a unique ministry that has 21 active Creighton volunteers. An opportunity worth ringing home about!

Marquette University Campus Ministry

Marquette University's Campus Ministry is known for its robust liturgical music program and vibrant student-led Masses, offered every day of the week. Before MSP, scheduling volunteers for Mass involved group texts and email chains. When Fr. Nathaniel Romano, SJ, joined the campus ministry team, he saw an opportunity to get everyone on the same page with a more efficient solution. Over the summer, he tested MSP's free trial with a small group of Marquette students, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive—they loved the simplicity, flexibility, and especially the ability to manage sub requests through the app.

How's MSP going so far? Students have quickly embraced MSP! Now, the entire Marquette community—Jesuit presiders, campus ministry staff, and students—enjoys a more streamlined, organized system. The app has become a favorite feature, making sign-ups and schedule changes a breeze.
